Pure wedding Bliss
is what I miss
Church bells ringing
while the choirs are singing

As I walked down the aisle
armed with a lovely smile
Lustrous folds of satin and lace
billowing around my feet which slowed my pace

Adoring eyes
and the gossip monger pries
Wondering if I am heavy with a child
then I will be reviled

At the end of the aisle
there’s my love with her blissful smile
Teary-eyed
as he had eyes only for his bride

Taking our vow
the priest prodded us somehow
Made us promise
love and respect never to be amiss

After feelings expressed
union blessed
Pure wedding bliss
Sealed with a kiss
