Though I grew up surrounded by poetry and motivational books, it was only during college that I got really interested in them. An uncle who was a professor left these books at home. One author who caught my attention was Dale Carnegie. I still have the book though it’s worn out now. Here is one quote from him about facing fears in life.

Inaction breeds doubt and fear. Action breeds confidence and courage. If you want to conquer fear, do not sit home and think about it. Go out and get busy. – Dale Carnegie
