Share Your World – May 7, 2018

It’s been awhile since I participated in Cee’s Share Your World. When I read the questions I got excited and can’t help but answer them.

SO HERE ARE MY ANSWERS TO CEE’S QUESTIONS:

If you were given $22 million tax-free dollars (any currency), what is the first thing you would do? (This is just a dream question, remember anything can happen in SYW.)

I will definitely be baffled and my mouth hanging open. $22 million tax-free dollars is a lot of money especially if converted to our money (you see why my mouth is still hanging open 😲 😂). We will definitely pay off our house and our vehicles also. Then I will treat my mom first to travel around the world. The remainder of the money will be invested.

In what do you find the simplest of joys? 

Communing with nature gives me the simplest of joys. I find pleasure in the beauty of the nature. It gives me joy also when I stare at my three children. I love watching them especially when they’re asleep. They never fail to amaze me. Our big Labrador baby also gives me great joy. He’s always excited to see us and he’s so sweet.

What would be your ideal birthday present, and why?

I have always loved celebrating birthdays. It would be great if my love ones plan a birthday surprise for me 😇. I would like to feel special just for once. I love gatherings. I would like my love ones and friends to be with me on my special day.

What did you appreciate or what made you smile this past week? 

My friends whom I haven’t seen in a while visited me at my place. I appreciated their efforts since they came all the way from where I was born. It was almost a three hours drive from their place. They are dedicated teachers and it was a treat for them to take a break and travel. One of them is my younger sister. Can you guess?

An answered prayer also made me smile. Here’s a poem I made yesterday.

Answered prayer

Yesterday’s fears are now a thing of the past.
I’m so glad they did not last.
My heart is full of glee.
God answered my plea.

He knew my intention’s good.
My prayer warriors at my side they stood.
Their support Tide me over,
A comfort I much prefer.

I faced the day with a positive mindset.
And now a good outcome beget.
Praise to you Oh Lord!
I feel grateful for the blessing you have poured.
