This is my first time to join Fandango’s One-Word Challenge (aka, FOWC). The one word challenge is SETTING. I’m truly grateful for guys like Fandango for coming up with challenges in replacement of the now defunct WordPress’ daily prompt.
So here’s my take on the word Setting:
The wind brought about by the windmills
gave me the sudden chills
A certain mysticism
awaken me with their sheer magnetism
Standing so majestic
their appeal so aesthetic
Because of its beautiful setting
its remoteness you won’t be regretting
Til now their ethereal beauty
still holds me dearly
I’m now yearning to go back
paying no heed to its arduous track

That’s a beautiful windmill and well captured in a setting. Hope it didn’t give you too much chill☺

Thanks for joining in. I love windmills, but a lot of people consider them to be eyesores, particularly at large “wind farms.” I appreciate them as an environmentally responsible alternate to fossil fuels for energy generation.

You’re welcome! And thank you for acknowledging me. I fell in love the first time I saw them! My friend was right. There’s something magical in the wind when you’re near them. I do appreciate them too. I think the whole town’s electric power is generated by that windmill farm.

Lovely! It reminds me of this place that was homemade and crafters market that I went to with my mom growing up, it was always such an adventure. 🙂

We have to travel for how many hours just to see those windmills but it’s all worth it. You’ll love it since you love the beach. 😉 I hope you can visit our country someday. 😉
Awww! You’re too kind, Shelley! Thank you! 😊

Beautiful place. Beautiful photos. Yet, more beautiful words. I am reminded though of the song, “Windmills of your mind.”

Thank you! 😊 Now, I have to search for that song.
