What’s the thing that’s keeping you from accomplishing your goals? From going out of your comfort zone? Lack of courage, isn’t it? We all hesitate when we do not know what will happen and what’s out there. Fear of the unknown is what’s keeping us. I for one hesitate too but I always try to defeat that coward part of me.

So when I read dear Richa’s (Iscriblr) post about Courage, I told myself I won’t miss the opportunity in joining her challenge and share my experience.

ABOUT THE CHALLENGE

Every Thursday, I will pick up a “prompt word” to be acted upon by y’all. You are free to go wild with your imagination and interpret the “prompt” in any way that you like – photo, prose, poetry, fiction, non-fiction, quotes, articles or drawing/painting – whatever works for you!

In short, it’s all about you being the BOSS and choosing the best way possible to express and depict your understanding of the prompt and go berserk! – Richa, Iscriblr

Topic: Courage

I don’t want to sound like a braggart but I don’t balk at daring adventures unless it involves blood (shudders).😁

Here’s a photo (don’t laugh but I’m still overweight there 1 year and 4 months ago) of my daring adventure with my friends from where I used to work. We were supposed to eat and catch up only but we saw this hanging bridge a few meters from the restaurant we went to.

There are a resort and restaurant in Antipolo, Rizal, Philippines called Cloud 9 as the name implies. There’s a hanging bridge which connects the restaurant towards a terrace with a 360 view of Antipolo and Manila. We were told it is best to see the city’s skyline from dawn.

We tested our limits if we can successfully climb it. I did after gripping the rope tightly, sweating profusely and walking like a zombie. 🤪😂 I did conquer my fear of heights. It was a real relief after reaching the top. 😆

How about you? What daring adventure did you do? Tell me about it.
