I’m off to my poetry class later this AM; I think I’ll bring them your line: “a breath of hope to a tired soul.” We are all over 60 in the class: today we celebrate a member’s 90th birthday. If it’s at all encouraging, I will tell you that my soul is far less tired than it was in previous decades (but I will admit to a heavy heart about these times) and fellow poets my age feel the same, so hang in there, Winnie, and do keep writing!
