It was a bright, moonlit night
stood before me was my valiant knight
in blithe indifference to the current coup
we made a reckless rendezvous

His peridot gaze
held me ablaze
their effulgence a give away
that he can turn the night into day

In his arms nothing
could do no wrong
and his gaze held a vow
anything I desire he would endow
