With a faraway look, I gazed at the moon
began chanting a mournful tune
for which the moon heeded my soulful cries
and discerned my onyx eyes

It reached out its lambent light
when I can no longer hold on with all my might
too exhausted
hanging by a thread

I almost loosen my grasp
but it tightened its firm clasp
pulled me to ascend
in the vault of heaven

It was easy uniting in harmony
for it was meant to be,
thanks for marrying me glorious moon
I now croon melodious happy tune
