Being strong
is the hardest thing to do
when you feel the world’s against you
With a confusing mix of tears, triumphs, and rejections
you sink down further with their implicit accusations
Why bother with their way of thinking
when you know in your heart you have not done any wrongdoing
Walk like a queen holding her head high
and soar with confidence like the eagle in the sky

This reminds me of Isaiah 40:31 in the bible- but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint
