Hello lovely people! I’m back with another Freedom of Expression challenge created by dear Richa of Iscriblr. She’s really an amazing poetess and I love her for being a constant supportive friend.

The topic is Melody. Here’s my take on it:

A continuation of Lost Love

Trapped in a parallel dimension
by a vengeful entity,
an arch-enemy of love
basking in the misery of a broken-hearted

It always pains her
to hear the haunting melody
of her lover playing the grand piano
in the middle of a forest

Only a completion
of a soulful piece
will set her free
uniting her to the loving arms of her fated love

To complete a line
equals a century
a hex uttered by the entity
though her heart resolved
